Artist's Comments

Around 6:30 this morning, the apartment building across from my own caught fire. Apparently, some guy on the third floor dropped a cigarette (I heard he fell asleep with it) and it caught his apartment on fire, which then spread throughout the top floor of the building. What wasn't destroyed by fire was demolished by the thousands of gallons of water sprayed on the building by about 6 fire trucks (there were probably at least 15 others parked around the complex, but not in use). It was a 3-alarm fire, whatever that means. I got quite a few pictures before and in-between classes, but this is my favorite.

Enjoy.

Great shot, I couldnt get close enough to get a good shot of the firefighters, but I just posted some shots of the building.

Can not believ they are going to try and pick that up. It takes one gallon of water per foot whick means apx. eight pounds per foot times one hundred feet, which is how that hose comes. Oh my back. Great shot.
